Loom & Stitch began just a couple of years ago, growing from a simple love of arts and crafts into something much more meaningful. What started as a way for me to unwind and reconnect with creativity (it began with creating all our wedding decor with textiles!) quickly turned into making handmade pieces for friends and their babies. I loved seeing the little people in my life wearing things I created, and gifting keepsakes I know that will be cherished, then as crazy as it seemed at the time, people were wanting to pay for me creations!
At its heart, Loom & Stitch is about creating pieces that feel personal, thoughtful, and made to last. Each item is carefully embroidered by hand, turning everyday garments into something truly special. Hearing how much joy these pieces bring to both parents and their little people is the greatest compliment and the reason I continue to stitch each design with so much love and care.
As a mum myself, I know how difficult it can be to find children’s clothing that feels both beautiful and meaningful. Creating embroidered pieces for my own little boy, Elio, became a way to make clothes that reflect his personality, incorporate the things he loves, and feel special enough to keep and pass down. That same idea now sits at the heart of Loom & Stitch: clothing that is personal, high quality, and made to be treasured.
Sustainability is also a key part of the brand. By working with hand knitted items and pre-loved denim, the focus is on slow, sustainable fashion (that won't end up in landfill!).
Alongside the personalised garments, I also created DIY embroidery kits to help others discover the joy of making things by hand. These kits give people the opportunity to slow down, take time for themselves, and learn a creative skill while making something meaningful for their own families.
Loom & Stitch is, and always will be, about celebrating creativity, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the small personal details that make childhood memories even more special.
